The Evil League of Ecdysiasts’ annual Joss Whedon-themed burlesque and variety show is back for 2018, with a new venue and an incredible cast from across the country, including Vox Fabuli Puppets from Seattle, Washington, headlining as Puppet Joss. We Whedon fans joke about how Joss breaks our hearts on the regular…what if the characters could talk back and let us know how they feel about what happens to them? I’m so excited about a new concept I’m producing in conjunction with Mythology Lounge in DC–Geek Mythology, a recurring Friday night event with a different nerdy theme each week, featuring live entertainment, themed cocktails, and a DJ all night. We kicked off this past Friday with a Buffy-themed evening and we continue with Moulin Rouge this week and Neil Gaiman next week, with April and May themes soon-to-be-announced. Greetings!! I am incredibly excited to return to the New York Burlesque Festival this weekend! I’ll be performing in the Premiere Party on Friday night at Brooklyn Bowl.
